I am thinking of installing the program and running it on a secondary machine. Will my current score be recognized or imported into the new installation when I sign in with the same user name and password  |

Well, I never switched to another machine, but have a look at the "upload score box". On the left side there is a sync possibility, that means, keep your name (and pwd) the same an click sync on the new computer. It should download the last saved score and you can continue.
