Well I think I understand the type II defense, what I don't understand is why I need to (E-Mail us to activate if you understand it), so now I'm not sure if I understand the type II defense. So someone please explain the type II defense.

We are working on an 'easier' way to implement it. Basically it involves
form processing, and the reason we requested that people e-mailed us
was because people might create malformed URLs, etc that would have
pretty much no effect and also to prevent any kind of abuse. I think we
have an idea for a much better implementation that will be easy to use
and integrate w/very little, if any, abuse, which will be good.

That would make it much better if you come up with an easier implementation or verification system.
