NASHVILLE Vyncint Smith Color Rush Jersey , Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota fully participated in Friday’s practice and is expected to start Monday night’s road game against the AFC South-leading Houston Texans.Mariota suffered a stinger Sunday in a 38-10 loss at Indianapolis and didn’t play in the second half of that game. He was limited in Wednesday and Thursday’s work but got the green light from head coach Mike Vrabel on Friday to start, barring an unforeseen setback.“He felt better,” Vrabel said. “We’ve got to keep working. … He looked good today, but that’s why you practice. You try to always improve and get better and fix the things you didn’t have right. He was not limited.”Mariota missed the first meeting between the Titans and Texans on Sept. 16 in Nashville. The Titans won that game 20-17 with backup quarterback Blaine Gabbert under center and with the help of a fake punt touchdown. While Mariota was a full participant on Friday, defensive coordinator Dean Pees was absent from the afternoon practice.Pees spent Sunday night in an Indianapolis hospital due to a medical issue. Pees returned to practice Wednesday and Thursday, but Vrabel wanted him to rest on Friday and excused him from practice.“Dean was tired today, and I asked him to go home,” Vrabel said. “I wanted him to get some rest. I’m trying to get Dean to Monday night, just like I am all the players. The plan was simply, ‘Hey Brandon Dunn Color Rush Jersey , Dean, why do you go get some rest? Why don’t you go get some sleep?’ That’s what I felt like was best to try to get him to the game.”Also, left tackle Taylor Lewan was out of Friday’s practice due to illness. Running back David Fluellen remains out with a knee injury. On Saturday, the Texans are going to Newark, New Jersey to play the New York Jets. It’s all very confusing. As we await that game, we can learn the latest from Aaron Wilson about the Texans’ injury situation. Here’s a summary. Kayvon Webster was designated to return from injured reserve. He has a 21 day window to practice until the Texans decide he’s ready to play, or he will miss the remainder of the season. After being signed in late August, Webster played two snaps in one game against Dallas, injured his quad, and hasn’t played since. Maybe he’ll play soon. That would be cool. Shareece Wright just got burned by another double move while you were reading this paragraph. Aaron Colvin suffered an ankle injury and still hasn’t played much. Romeo Crennel had the following to say:I don’t know. This sounds more like a guy they don’t trust to have out on the field. Colvin was a fine cost-effective signing in free agency Dylan Cole Color Rush Jersey , but it isn’t surprising he’s been worse in Houston than he was in Jacksonville. Playing in between A.J. Bouye and Jalen Ramsey is much different than playing between Johnathan Joseph and Wright or Kareem Jackson. Notably, Houston hasn’t designated Kevin Johnson to return either after he suffered another concussion earlier this year. This secondary is in a strange place. The last bit of injury news concerns Zach Fulton and DeAndre Carter. Fulton has a hand injury, and Carter suffered a concussion against the Colts attempting to make a goal line catch. Both are back at practice. There were a few practice squad moves. Washington lost their entire offensive line to injury, so they signed Kyle Fuller off Houston’s practice squad. Practice squad tight end Eric Tomlinson was signed by the Jets. Good luck, fellas. Lastly, Derek Newton signed with the Saints. Good luck, dude. I loved watching him and Brandon Brooks play together and demolish the right side of defenses. We were so young once.
