Since launch February, For Honor has gone through a lot of changes. Ubisoft has included new personalities and maps, run several limited-time occasions, and created dedicated servers. A brand new featurette Ubisoft has published on the For Honor game claims For Honor is only likely to continue going, and there's a tease for another new hero at the end.

The hand holding it seems to have a studded leather piece shielding it.There are a couple possibilities. The sword might be a falchion, a machete-style sword used in medieval Europe. This would signify a new hero for the Knights faction.

For Honor doesn't have a Chinese faction, but they've made accomodations for poetic license before, including the RomanCenturion and Gladiator to the Knights' roster. Odds are good that there is a new Chinese hero coming into the Samurai faction, and the little piece of armor observable seems to support this concept.
