Hi. A particular Spammer keeps the @emailaddress, but changes the first name every time, so I cant spamthemback. Anyone had the same?
The body of the message always reads 'Dear John'.
Regards

The address is forged, no way for you to spam him back. Try this: create a brand-new email address (a mail that you will sacrifice of course) and contact the spammer via his website. Tell him that "you cannot live without the things he sells and so on" and try to catch his attention. Then ask for a mail contact and... yep, you will probably have his personal address! Wink
You have to be half fox and half lion, so good luck! Very Happy
Keep in mind to use a new email address (NOT your personal mail of course...) and use a proxy service like TOR or others.
Bye man, see ya!

Errrr ... instead of creating a new mail address why don't you use a temporary address from e.g. TRASHMAIL ... also available as a Firefox plugin and you can define how many times you want to forward those mails to your real account and for how long ...

Hi
Nothing seems to work to stop these guys as they close the email address every time they send and then change the name before the @ so you cant access the last address. So John@*******.co.uk next time is say ruby@*******.co.uk. The body of the message always starts with Charset="iso-8859"-1 Then "Dear John if you cant read this message" [u]CLICK HEAR.
Regards.
