So the last few weeks I've been getting your typical fake NSA craigslist-style spam (i.e. "I want to hook up with you, just enter in your credit card on this 'background check' website"), but instead of getting them through emails which can easily be spam-filtered, I'm getting them in the form of shared posts on Google+ and Dropbox.
Reporting the individual posts to the respective websites as spam has had no effect so far, and I can't just send every email from G+ and Db to spam because I also get legitimate posts from people I actually know. This has been incredibly frustrating, I get 3-4 emails a day from each site, and there seems to be no stemming the tide.
Has anyone else been experiencing this? Is there any way to make it stop, short of making new G+ and Db accounts? |
