All right Spamit, I really like this program and while the newer version actually quits now when I say quit, it still consumes all available memory.
Since it seems that this prog has no issues on your machine(s) and I want to help make this better I got busy today. A quick Google on how to find a memory leak lead me to microsoft's perfmon. I added a number of things to watch with respect to the 2nd instance of spamitback, which seems to be the workhorse in question. According to MS its the private bytes you want to watch for memory leaks. Here are some screen caps and you can see that the private bytes grows and grows, which seems to me to be pointing to a memory leak. But I could be wrong.

Hi,
Thanks. Actually the software wasn't written in C++ (it was VB ), so can't really seem to find any ways to optimize it. |
