release was the fact that the Chargers will go from November 3 to December 15 without playing a game in Los Angeles. They will play three road games Rayshawn Jenkins Jersey , serve as the “home” team in Mexico City against the Chiefs and take their bye week over that stretch. While it remains to be seen how that works out for the Chargers, members of the 2018 team will head into the stretch with some experience navigating those waters. The Chargers went from October 7 to November 18 last year without a game on their home field and quarterback Philip Rivers highlighted that stretch while reviewing this year’s slate.“We play home against Green Bay, and then we’re not home again until late December,” Rivers said, via the team’s website. Shoot, it’s just like last year! Now http://www.thechargerslockerroom.com/authentic-justin-jones-jersey , it gets kind of skewed because there’s a bye in there and a home game in Mexico City. We handled it well last year, and I think we will again. Shoot, at some point you’re going to have a stretch like that, and I think being home-away, home-away early, and not having back-to-back away games early Womens Kyzir White Jersey , hopefully we can get off to a good start.”Rivers is right about the team handling it well. They won all four games they played over that stretch to improve to 7-2 on their way to a 12-4 record and a playoff berth. A similar run this year should set the team up well for the final weeks of the regular season. Well....duh" Chargers PlayersChargers Free Agency NewsReport: Chargers exercise 5th year option on Joey BosaNew,18commentsWell....duhPDTShare this storyShare this on FacebookShare this on TwitterShareAll sharing optionsShareAll sharing options for:Report: Chargers exercise 5th year option on Joey BosaTwitterFacebookRedditPocketFlipboardEmailPhoto by Harry How/Getty ImagesThe Los Angeles Chargers have apparently exercised the 5th year option on Joey Bosa that they are allowed for 1st round picks. The 5th year option for Joey Bosa acts sort of like the Transition Tag. Players taken in the top 10 picks have their 5th year option salary set as the same price as the Transition Tag. That means Joey will be paid the average of the top 10 salaries for DEs. Looking back over the last 3 seasons, 2017-2019, the Transition Tag for DEs has gone from $14M, to $14.2M, to $14.36M. So Bosa’s 5th year will likely be somewhere around $14.5M that will be fully guaranteed. That’s a healthy $6M raise over what Joey is set to make this year at just over $8M. If Joey comes out this year and has the kind of season we all expect him to have Virgil Green Jersey , that $14.5M will still be a discount. Melvin Ingram’s 4 year deal averages $16.25M a year, I’d expect Joey to be more than that...by a couple million a year. Long story short, this was a no brainer and a good move. _________________ http://www.greenbaypackersteamonline.com/ |
