Is it possible to get an update of the Spammers list as after some time of using the program it stops sending data and I have to restart the program to be able to start again. _________________ I'm daydreaming going home and thinking of spying the unknown |

I've had this problem a couple of times, but other times I can leave it running for long periods and it continues running fine. I dont think it has anything to do with the spammers list, as the ones in my list still have 'yes' but the program just seems to freeze and not send anymore could be different from you though
I left it running for the day while I was at work the other day, and it stopped as said sometime throughout the day, but I have had it running all day today, and it hasnt stopped once. It does seem a bit strange |

Hi,
The list has been updated (cleaned), so you can check for updates
now with a new list... & wow about half of them had to be 'cleaned',
and one spammer (pretty large) has taken his mail server offline
We are currently working on a new version to make updates much
more automated. |

After running for most of the day, the program suddenly stopped sending anything and saying 'Processing (Type 1)' with the little red things still lighting up. I press Stop, and it doesnt do anything the red things carry on doing what they do, I press Start again, and I get 'Initializing....' and it just sits doing that then.
So I click Stop, close the program, and it opens it up again on its own, but the the start button missing, its still clickable, but cant be seen the program then runs as it should do.
It seems to keep doing this after different periods of time, First time today it did it after several hours, I restarted the program and it did it after about 30 minutes.
Pozzi, does this sound anything like what you are/were experiencing??
Oh yeah, and I have updated the spammers list, and it still did it any ideas. |

Hmm...
Sounds like it is 'hanging'. What is the last address that is listed when
that happens? (When it says 'current spammer'?)
Thanks. |

The same thing is happening here with ver.1007/1006.1000, also when shut down, a *.tmp is left behind when it should be cleared automatically. I've tried this on two machines with the same results and have to believe it's the program as opposed to an external target.
It would also be helpful to have a text file included in a future update indicating a list of *ALL* the files that are installed, and any registry entries. |

Mm, not sure what the *.tmp file is, will have to take a look at that.
As for the file list, why do you need/want that?
The files installed are the ones you find in the program directory.
Or do you mean a list of updated files when you click the 'update'
button? If so... still not really sure what the advantage of that would be,
as it simply updates the spammer database? |

The file list is to help clean up following an un-install because not everything is removed. |

Ahhhhhhhhhh...
Ok. Gotcha. Hmm...
Not really any 'feasible' way of doing it at the moment, unless we
made 'install' packs (i.e., entirely separate applications that installed
themselves).
(Technically it is possible without install packs, but right now our resources
are devoted elsewhere. It would just be kind of time consuming to do so).
If you want to totally remove the files, simply remove anything that
you've put in the spamitback directory that you initially install to... |

I had the software running all day today, but it stopped after a short period on 'Current Spammer: (links not allowed) I went through what I explained in my the other post, and it the software 'hung' on (links not allowed) again.
So looks like that could be the problem one, for me at least
Pozzi, any info on what one yours is hanging on yet? |
