in preparation for Sunday’s game against the Browns. Graham Gano was absent from practice again as he’s battling a knee injury and has been ruled out for Sunday’s game. The Panthers signed Chandler Cantanzaro as an insurance policy to cover for Gano’s absence.Colin Jones also missed practice today and is listed as questionable after dealing with an illness this week. Here’s some good news today: Cam Newton threw in the open media portion of practice and isn’t listed as doubtful or questionable for Sunday. That’s good C.J. Anderson Jersey , right?!Hopefully he’ll be 100% go on Sunday since the Panthers kinda need him in order to succeed. According to Ron Rivera, this week of limited practice was ‘pretty much a normal practice week’ for the franchise quarterback. Here’s today’s full injury report:Panthers injury reportOutK Graham Gano (knee)DoutbtfulN/AQuestionableS Colin Jones (illness) * * *Did not participate in practiceK Graham Gano (knee)S Colin Jones (illness)Limited participation in practiceDE Julius Peppers (rest)Full participation in practiceS Mike Adams (rest/wrist)LB Thomas Davis (rest)C Ryan Kalil (rest)TE Chris Manhertz (ankle)RB Christian McCaffrey (rest)QB Cam Newton (shoulder)WR Torrey Smith (knee)G Trai Turner (neck)Practice StatusDid not participate in practice = 0% of a player’s normal repetitionsLimited participation in practice = Less than 100% of a player’s normal repetitionsFull participation in practice = 100% of a player’s normal repetitionsGame StatusOut = Player will not playDoubtful = Player unlikely to playQuestionable = Uncertain if player will play MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota Twins right-hander Ervin Santana may miss the rest of the season while receiving a series of platelet rich plasma injections in the middle finger of his pitching hand.Santana is 0-1 with a 8.03 ERA in five major league starts this season.“He had one done,” Minnesota manager Paul Molitor said Saturday. “I think over a three-week period he’ll have that done three times.”Santana had surgery Feb. 6 to remove a calcium deposit on the finger. The Twins have a $14 million option for next year with a $1 million buyout.“I’m not really sure if the timing of when he picks up a ball will matter nearly as much as his ability to try to get through the winter and put himself in position to pitch again next spring DJ Moore Color Rush Jersey ,” Molitor said.Santana is 149-125 with a 4.06 ERA in 14 major league seasons. _________________ http://www.greenbaypackersteamonline.com/ |
