The Los Angeles Rams improved to 2-0 on the season with a 34-0 win against the Arizona Cardinals (0-2) on Sunday. Here are seven stats from Sunday: The Rams went 2-0 to start the season for the first time since 2001. In that year , in which they’d make it all the way to the Super Bowl, the Rams went on the road to defeat the Eagles and 49ers in weeks 1 and 2. They’d win their first six that year, and only lost two games during the regular seasonSean McVay is now 3-0 against the Cardinals since taking over as the Rams’ head coach. In those games, they’ve outscored Arizona 99-16.The Rams have scored at least 30 points in 10 of 18 games under Sean McVay. They reached 30 points in 11 of 77 games under Jeff Fisher (h/t Rich Hammond). The LA Rams’ defense held it’s own on Sunday, as the Cardinals’ offense was only allowed beyond midfield once during the game. That occurred on the second to last play of the entire game. The Rams had three two-point conversions on Sunday Womens Lamarcus Joyner Jersey , which was the second-most in franchise history. The most two-point conversions made in a game is four, which came against the Atlanta Falcons on Oct. 15, 2000. The last time the Rams had a two-point conversion was Nov. 1, 2015 against the 49ers when Nick Foles completed a pass to Jared Cook.Kick returner JoJo Natson, in his first game with the Rams , took a kickoff return for 60 yards; a new career high. His previous long was 32 yards, which came with the New York Jets last season. Natson also returned six punts on Sunday for 133 yards (a 22.2 yard average).Todd Gurley couldn’t stay out of the end zone. While only rushing for 42 yards, he still accounted for 22 of the Rams 34 points. Gurley found pay dirt three times and punched in (2) two-point conversions. The three touchdowns is tied for the second most in his young career. He also scored three times against the 49ers last September, and scored four times against the Seahawks last December. He now has four touchdowns through Week 2. The Cardinals have none, and the Buffalo Bills have two.UPDATED: Los Angeles Rams place WR Mike Thomas on injured reserve Youth Ndamukong Suh Jersey , re-sign kicker Sam Ficken The Los Angeles Rams sound like they escaped their week two duel with the Arizona Cardinals relatively unscathed outside of kicker Greg Zuerlein. It sounds like Young GZ pulled his groin towards the end of pre-game warmups and obviously missed the game. The Rams have re-signed Sam Ficken who was with the team last season when Zuerlein went down with a back injury:Ficken went 2-for-3 on field goal attempts last season while going 2-for-2 in the preseason this year as he was back with the Rams. Though the severity of GZ’s injury is unknown yet, it seems like Ficken will at the very minimum be expected to kick in week three and potentially even beyond. The injury really stinks for Zuerlein as he was off to another great start on the season going 4-of-5 in week one with three extra points.Stay tuned for an update when we get one.UPDATE:The corresponding move was placing WR Mike Thomas on the injured reserve list:Update #2:Kicker Greg Zuerlein is expected to “miss multiple weeks” per Head Coach Sean McVay:
